offered to you in the letter from this

Dept. of the 25th of October. The

answers to your enquiries are as follows:-

(a) Asst. Mistresses appointed to

the H.K. Education Service may be required

to serve. in any type of school either

elementary or secondary, and either

Brit ish or Chinese. The majority of the

schools are for children of Chinese race.

Half salary is paid from the

date of leaving England and full salary

from the date of arrival in H.K.
